Fundraiser Update!

We did it! Thanks to many generous donations throughout our 2 week fundraiser we were able to reach our goal of raising $40,000!

What/who is Apex?

Apex Leadership Inc is a fundraising company we partner with to provide an amazing two-week interactive leadership program combined with an exciting obstacle course that helps us – and schools all over the country – raise funds. During the fun-filled program, Apex encourages development of leadership habits, good character, and fitness. Every student at our school participates in the daily, in-class leadership and character lessons, receives daily lesson silicone wristbands, enjoys classroom & school-wide rewards, and takes part in the celebratory, high-energy obstacle course that we call “Gallop-a-thon” towards the end of the fundraising/pledging period. All students get to participate in these in-school lessons and activities regardless of financial participation in the fundraiser. 

Each student will come home with a unique code to set up their personal pledge page online. This makes it easy to share and get donations from friends and family regardless of where they live. Incentives are given (discreetly) based on donation levels. Donations can also be made towards a class. Classes and the entire school will enjoy incentives for reaching goals or completing challenges along the way  – like pieing the Apex leaders or sliming the admin!  

Pledges/donations can be made as a flat donation or as a pledge per lap in the obstacle course. 

What is Gallop-a thon?

The “Gallop-a-thon” obstacle course will happen on Thursday, October 17 outside on the field at Chenoweth. Students will make as many laps around the obstacle course as they can or would like. Some pledges collected are based on how many laps you take around the obstacle course so it is important that students have fun and do their best! 

To volunteer at the Gallop-a-thon Obstacle Course on October 17th you can sign up HERE. This is a fun-filled morning cheering on our Chargers as they complete the obstacle course!

When the fundraiser kicks off on October 7th, help our school by:

Please Keep in mind that without the PTA’s fundraising efforts, we cannot do what we do: Events, Outdoor Classroom maintenance and improvements, Arts Enrichment assemblies, Teacher Subsidies, and SO MUCH MORE! More information about Apex will be coming home and posted here soon!
